Hello everyone! If you visit my site, please leave a note. I miss you all.
Pretty much wandered throughout the Pacific Northwest from Alaska to Mexico until I was talked into college.... Started back to school at De Anza at 38, finished in Colorado as a Dental Hygienist at 42. Go figure.....Went to Washington State where they allow hygienists to have their own business and started a preventive oral health business going in to elementary schools and seeing the Medicaid and uninsured kids. Found a niche.... I now have 15 employees and 3 RV's going in to the schools. Last year we saw almost 12,000 kids. I spend quite a bit of time in the Bay Area. My mom still lives in the old family home in Saratoga and is getting pretty frail. My brother and sister still live in the area too.
I look back at my high school daze and realize how blessed I am! Kind of a rocky start. But in looking back, don't know if I'd change much.
It's almost unbelievable being 50 something! Never really planned on that. I've started working on my bucket list. Went to a Giants World Series game this year and then to the parade. Man, this area knows how to throw a party!
