Bob's Story
Life
I spent the first 5 years after graduating traveling the world and seeing as much as I could. Started my own Real Estate company(R.E.L. Estate Inc.) in '77 in Phoenix,Az. and sold it in 2001 and retired. I have a home here in Phoenix, a home in Kualapapa/Molokai,Hawaii, and a summer cabin Whistler,British Columbia. I enjoy traveling but it's not as much fun anymore with the world problems and sentiment the way it has become since 9/11. I know I have missed out on many things in my life that are never to be mine while working to achieve the almighty dollar,sometimes I don't think it was worth what I had to miss or give up. Those of you with a wife or husband,children and family will have something I will never have. And for that you are more fortunate than I. Well it's now 2012, I have sold my home in Phoenix and my place in Canada. I have bought and moved to a large ranch 20 miles from the Mexican border. It is like a giant gated community.......... I love it. I guess I didn't love the "ol west as much as I thought I would, sold the place in Arizona and moved to the beach on Galveston Island where I spend most of my time...Expand for more
now. My partner and I divide our time between the beach house and our ranch north of Houston. We own the biggest and best bar/niteclub on the Texas gulf coast and I love my life here. I know there are some classmates living down here in the Houston area and I hope to get together with some of them for a few parties and mini class reunions here or up at the ranch. Getting older......................66 in January('14) and just booked a couple of cruises. Going to do the Bahamas in January and the southern Caribbean in March, all the things I worked hard to be able to do when I got to retire. Well it's time for another update I guess.........it's now '15 and we are spending most of your time in Dallas where we bought a house. Still have the ranch and love the peace and quiet it give me, lock the gate and it's half a mile drive to the ranch house. Don't go down to Galveston very often but still have the house there also but every once in awhile I like to visit Rumors ( our club) and the beach. Just got back from the "annual" Halloween Cruise thru the western Caribbean. New pic is from the Vatican, Thanksgiving with the Pope, so to speak.
