Bob's Story
Here¿s my brief bio:
Graduated from South Park High, 70. Worked for a metal union company for a few months, went on strike , went to an electronics school in Cuyahoga Fall for 2 months (geared at an eighth grade education) and bailed. Enlisted in the USAF, went thru basic and entered pararescue training in TX. Went to WA, after getting my arse kicked in TX, then GA for Army jump school, Key West, FL. For navy SCUBA school, then on to Salt Lake, UT for advanced training. Graduated Pararescue school, got advanced training in helicopter rescue and off to Thailand during Nam. Spent 8 months flying combat missions the went to Ft. WaltonBeach, FL. For another 8 months....Expand for more
Accepted for an ROTC scholarship to Ohio State and spent the next 4 months there. Graduated from the physical therapy program in ¿77 and assigned to Keesler AFB, MS. Did 3+ years there, then another 3 in the Philippines. From there is was off to Emory University in Atlanta for a master¿s program for 2 years. Then assigned to glorious LA for 3 ½ years before being paroled to northern California where I spent my last years in the AF before retiring in ¿94. Have lived in CA since.
Married twice, 2 adult children who are married and live near us. And two lovely grand-daughters.
There¿s plenty more for anyone interested, but wanted to keep this relatively short.
