Robert's Story
Life
I have had fun, so far! I still love to go to the beach and body surf but it seems harder to find anyone to go with me so I just enjoy the folks that are there. I was in Hawaii to see my Brother Marty off and surfed with some fun people.
My job is demanding but fun. I get to make sure everyone in my little 26 county area of North Carolina can talk on their Cellular Phones. This is accomplished by me making sure the sites are built to spec.
I have collected a few antique cars [anyone who remembers my home, on Shamrock and Curtner in Campbell, while I was in High School will remember my dad had tons of cars,15 at one time in our back yard] well I have two 1953 Cadillacs in wonderful condition and a 1964 Lincoln, also in wonderful condition. I have a hard time deciding which of them to drive in the 4th of July parade in our little town of 400. I have lots more area than dad did, so back in the wooded part of my place I have my [7] cars, pick up truck, and motorhome stored. not quite as bad as dad but at least al...Expand for more
l of mine are in terrific condition.
I enjoy projects and always have a house or two or more that I am fixing up. I like to purchase old ones and make them flow. I bash out walls and create all new homes and then.... I never know. I have been selling them and the people that get them usually get them for a wonderful price and really like them. It's fun but just a hobby.
I married once but it didn't take. I was too young, you know how men have a hard time growing up, well that was me. I have lots of family as my brothers and sister all had lots of children and they love Uncle Bob I get invited to lots of stuff.
Oh, I forgot to mention I don't have my little blue Harley Davidson anymore but I still ride and have an American Classic 1100 Honda that I purchased 10 years ago. It is great fun to ride on the open roads of North Carolina and Virginia. I have to wear a helmet thought and I sure don't like the way it closes off the feel of total freedom [wind in your hair and buggs in your teeth and all].
