Bob's Story
Life
After moving around the US all these years (even two years abroad in the Philippines) I finally managed to end up right wear I grew up... Arlington, TX (almost). I now reside in Fort Worth, TX working as a R&D Lab Technician for a Food Manufacturing Plant. I earned a BS in Chemistry in 1999 and after a few years I decided becoming a doctor was not what I really wanted to be. What you find out is if you don't further their education with a degree like mine, teach, or do research, then you are pretty much limited to working in a lab environment. I've been doing this for about five years now, but it is becoming a little too monotonous for me. I need a little change...adventure and excitement (see announcement)
I am currently single, but not by choice. You know how it is when you are shy and quiet. It wasn't until recently that I began to open up, meet people and make friends, and just get out and enjoy life a little. Since wrestling in high school (2X State Champ) and college (Div. II National Qualifier) I've always been naturally fit, but I haven't really done anything since my college days. I've recently started working out seriously (3-5 times a week) and have plans to get back down to 125lb...Expand for more
s. Other hobbies include indoor rock climbing, indoor shooting range, riding motorcycles, shooting pool, watching movies, and shopping.
I just reunited with my two sisters and Mother, whom I haven't seen in 20 years (it's a long story), so my time lately has been tied up with family and "catching up". Remember this: you can choose your friends, but you can't choose your family, so make the most of it b/c life is too short. My brother and I are still close (literally and figuratively). After all these years I regret not keeping in touch with all my friends and school buddies :-( I've listed a few of my dearest friends that come to mind (my memory is terrible these days):
Goodman Elementary/Hutcheson Jr. High: Lino Hernandez (last name?); Brian Uranga; Jarrod Watson
ABC Junior High School: Ashley Wilson; Ben Pruitt
Apex High School: Jamie Sullivan; Wrestling Team members
Gardner-Webb University: Wrestling Team members; anyone who survived Dr. Parrish's Chemistry classes, Dr. Wright's P. Chem, Dr. Burkett's Biochem, and last but not least Chemistry Seminar!!
There are many more, so don't feel bad if I left you out (you know who you are) Well, I hope to find some long, lost friends! L8R
