Bob's Story
As many know, I'm still, to use the phrase, a singer/songwriter. Currently living in Austin, TX better known as the "music capitol of the world) (sorry Nashville). Working on my 5th album and have songs for the 6th in the works. Moved to Oklahoma after being discharged from my time in the Air Force. I moved to OK to use my degree in Broadcasting and spent 4 years as an "on air" talent, in both radio as well as TV. Moved to Colorado in around 1976ish. Continued performing and for the next 2 1/2 years was acting/singing in musicals at one of the most successful professional dinner theaters called, Country Dinner Playhouse. Eventually went back to performing solo in dinner clubs. I also returned to school, to get an additional degree in, The Music Business with...Expand for more
an emphasis on recording engineering. I built a small studio in my home and worked with actors who needed voice over demos, sound design for plays/musicals and other projects that needed a small, but professorial recording studio. Still did music in the evenings. For about one year I returned to radio as the afternoon Drive Time DJ on a station in the mountains. Moved to Austin about 8 years ago. Am loving the ability to perform all the time, but miss Colorado, where it may be hot during the day (but not the triple digit heat like Texas), but cool in the evenings. For those who don't know, I use the stage name of Bob Heart. Looking forward to seeing everyone at our 2018, 50th reunion. YIKES!!! Has it really been that long. Peace, Love , Music. Namaste'
