Bob's Story

Turned 17 April 26, graduated in June same year. Wanted to see the world. So four of us joined the USAF. Boot camp Lackland, Tx Aug -Sept 63 Tech school Chanute AFB, Ill March 64 Pease AFB, NH Sept 65 Ramey AFB Aug 67 TDY's to Maron AFB, Spain Jan-Feb, 67 I was good, but humbling to attend the 50th reunion. e so many have passed or could not attend, was very sobering. The past two weeks I spent alone on my motorcycle, tent, sleeping bag and food. Now 67 I'm working on my bucket list. A road trip to the northern tip of Nova Scotia. No time line holding me back. The peak of the trip to be camped and swimming at Meat Cove. You were all in my thoughts. The people I met and the experience was priceless. Thanks

I was out for a MC ride on Saturday over Bear Notch Rd off the Kancamagus Hwy Which is deep in the WMNF. . On Monday I rode over again with a friend. Saturday there was the pile of insulation then by Monday the construction
After a hot day working in the gardens, I was caught cooling off in Fern Lake ; o) It is had work maintaining all the landscape, the pond......but I feel so lucky to have those gifts.
