Bob's Story
I graduated from Des Moines Technical High School in 1954. Enlisted in the Navy Reserves and continued my education at Drake University while working full time. I received my degree from Upper Iowa University (Cum Laude) with a double major in Business Management and Marketing. I married Connie, and we have two adult sons, four grandsons, one granddaughter, a great granddaughter and great grandson.

Resources. I retired in 1998 from the School District and for the last 19 years we have lived in Ankeny, Iowa.
Since retiring my wife and I have traveled extensively, including trips to Germany, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Austria, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand, also Hawaii,and Alaska. We spend sometime in Arizona and away from the Iowa cold and snow. With retirement comes more time to volunteer at Church and New Horizons Adult Day Care, also time for, golf, bowling, tennis, biking, and hiking.
