Happy Birthday, Gorgeous Carol. In case anyone needed reminding how cute you were, here we are at the '63 Taffy Luau. I am 15, and wearing a snappy Waltham Clarke shirt.

Myself, .John Force, Rod Sears and Kevin Jensen (picture taken by Paul Force) on our five day trip down the South and Main forks of the Salmon in 1974. We all played rugby for Snake River and Kevin decided we should tube th
We were talking about Dorothy Jo dance lessons at the old Ebell Club on the Peninsula, and here we are. I believe this is freshman year - 1960 or '61 - I am still the runt of the class in the back row. I had a big crush on
When we first moved to Eugene, one of the things we heard from everybody was that "it hardly ever snows here, and when it does, it's just a little dusting that doesn't ever stick". Hmmmm....
Teacher/Coach Fred Peterson at the Class of '65 25th Reunion in 1990. It looks like he's grilling me about something. He was also our Hi-Y Advisor.
My gorgeous pal Shirley McCuistion at our 25th Reunion - the first one we had jointly with Corona del Mar. Shirl and I were Freshmen together at UCSB as well. She has aged remarkably.
My folks came out to our townhouse in Falls Church, VA right after we got married to meet Merilee. She and Mom hit it off right away - of course - my mother was an amazing woman who was pretty much universally beloved by ev

Terry Thompson, me and my son Mike at the Santa Rosa flea market last week. Terry and I became friends at Newport Heights Elementary - 60 years ago. Amazing.
Budd and Bob - A cute couple for over 50 years!
The 1962 Newport X-Country team. Bob Hailey's first head coaching job. Frank Marshall is two to his right. To his left our lone star, Tim Rysdale, whom I thought of as the world's hairiest teen-ager until I saw John "Big Be
Here is the 1962 "JV" cross-country team. My pal Wayne Putnam and I are down front. We both actually ran enough varsity races that year to letter. It staggers me to realize that I am all of 14 years old in this picture.
These two lovely ladies - lovely inside and out! - are two of my favorite people. Sandra Leslie Shaw Sandusky Colhouer and Jacqueline Francis Casala Wiseman Sanford managed to send all their children through good colleges a
Our wonderful mother with her bouncing baby Bucko. Before cancer took my brother and Alzheimer's stole my mother's mind. She is still with us but no longer with us.Happy Mother's Day, Mom.

Newport Cross-country 1963. I'm on lower right next to Frank Marshall, who, along with his wife Kathy Kennedy, is the biggest producer in Hollywood history. He was #1 and I was #2, but he was much older. Har! Lower left I a
Merilee's company wanted them to wear "something pAtriotic" to work, and she found this. I wore it when I finished my four years active duty on 8 June, 1971.
