Bob's Story
Hii everyone wherever you are! Living happily in Colorado with my wife Vickie. We were recently blessed with our first grandchild!
Always happy to hear from LHS grads whether we were in the same class or not.
A note about my older brother, Tom.
Tom taught at LHS from around 1970 through the early 80s.(sorry, don't have
the accurate dates). The oldest of our family of 6 kids, Tom graduated from Glassboro State and also spent some time at Villanova and Ocean County
College. Tom was extremely popular while teaching at LHS along with his
wife, Joanna.(formerly Joanna Perelli). He continued to be a HUGE fan of LHS
basketball through the seasons. Tom's exit from LHS to another
Lakewood school ws NOT voluntary and involved some nasty politics
with then-principal Howard Green.
Tom continued to enjoy his ...Expand for more

students of all ages. In 1992, parked at an intersection in Lakewood, Tom's car was struck from behind. He suffered serious brain injury and physical traumas.
Tom was slowly and lovingly nursed back to health by wife Joanna and my Mom Helen who was a nurse at Paul Kimball. The Tom we got back was never the same, but still a joyful man with the heart and soul af a smaller child. His survival was nothing short of a great miracle and we were thrilled to have him back for many years until his passing in 2001. Please feel free to leave a message which I can pass along to our family members. Your love and affection for Tom is much appreciated and we are proud of the way Tom touched so very many students and other teachers' lives during his teaching career. We miss him and value your kind words.
