Bob's Story
After high school, I enlisted in the Air Force and spent time in Alaska and Turkey. Following that adventure, I came out west and eventually went to the Univ. of Washington, Iowa Medical School and Gonzaga Law School.. I did my internship in San Diego, residency in Florida and and then served three years as an emergency physician for the Air Force in Spokane , WA. By that time, I was married and had two sons. hirty years in Olympia and served on an Institution Review Board to evaluate medical research which I still do part time in retirement. In the last year I went from no grandchildren to four so I had to stop spending their inheritance once I found out I was going to have grandchildren. I spent most of my recreational time running including two Boston Marathons when I could run. Then I became obsessed with racquetball but recently moved on to golf, In the northwest, golf in the winter is difficult but I'll play anytime. Everyone is welcome. Stop by anytime!
