Bobbi(Chari)'s Story
Life
After high school I did attend college off and on for 3 years, but never quite knew what to do with myself. When I got engaged I decided it was time to work until I knew what I wanted to do. While this is usually a big mistake, I got lucky. I took a position as a receptionist in an eye clinic. I found the work that the tech staff was doing was very interesting and it helped so many people. I later became certified and worked nearly 15 years in the field.
Our first child, Lauren, 8, is adopted. She was 7 months old when we got her and we knew that this was Gods' plan for us, a true blessing. After 3 years of trying again to have children we took a break, bought a new house, got a new job and planned to wait a year and try again...Expand for more
. God gave us a miracle, our son, while we were setteling in to our home. Evan is 4. I went on maternity leave about 4 months into my pregnancy and we decided I would stay home with the kids for a few years. I love being a mom, but it's a lot more and a lot harder work than any full time job.
We've now moved to WA. I miss family and friends, but I love WA. The mountains are 45 minutes away, an hour to the ocean.
---It's now 2008, and we've moved back to --believe it or not--COON RAPIDS! We moved back in April last year, I divorced my husband of 20 years and I am amazed both by how much has changed and how much is exactly the same!! Other than that, not much is new in my life, but I am missing life in Washington very much!!
