Bobbie's Story
Life
Hi all, (written 28 July 2003)
After high school I went into the USAF. Worked on F111-F's at Mt. Home Idaho and RAF Lakenheath England, F-16's at Nellis AFB (Las Vegas) and Kunsan Korea, and TR1/U2R aircraft RAF Alconbury England.
Married in 1985 and got out of the service. Worked various jobs until I became employed at Boeing in Everett. I have two wonderful children, James (born Aug 87) and Jessica (born May 89). We moved to the island of Guernsey, Channel Islands, United Kingdom (England)(just off the coast of France) in the summer of 94 and have been here ever since. Divorced in March of 2000.
I now live on my yacht (motor cruiser) on the island, well not on the island but in one of the many marinas on the island. What a life, it's great. Pop off to France and the other islands as much as I can. Next week the children and I are off to Jersey and France for a couple of weeks of cruising around.

g Manager at the Acute Hospital here on the island. I am now the Staff Development and Quality Assurance Manager for Support Services, Board of Health on the island.
Update: Now it's years after I wrote the above. Still live on my yacht, left the Board of Health years ago. I work for a group of hotels here in Guernsey, drive the minibus between the hotels and town, and give tours of the island two afternoons a week. Loads of history here. The Channel Islands were occupied by the German forces during WWII. Guernsey's recorded history goes back over 2000 years.
Udate: Still driving the minibus, still living in the same place and boat. Biggest update, James, my son has been a Teacher in London for 9 years and the Head of Curriculum for the school for 5 years. He married a wonderful woman several years ago. Jessica got her Masters degree in Marine Biology and moved to New Zealand last year, I"m such a proud papa of them both.
