Bobbie-jo's Story
School
Although I only attended St. Clare for a year, I still remember the many friends I met, the challenges, and my short time there. I moved to the town of Braintree and completed my high school education at the local high school.
I can say, I did enjoy going to St Clare High School compared to a public school. I also had a favorite math teacher, Mrs. Pelly. She gave me a different view of learning math and always had a different relationship with her students than other teachers. Unfortunately she did pass away within the last year, but I still use the skills she taught me, especially with my own students. ...Expand for more
I have lost touch with all of those I was frineds with, but remember many of them.
Workplace
I am currently a kindergarten teacher at the South Shore YMCA. I find the job rewarding, fun, and always changing. I started as a preschool teacher and have worked my way up to being the kindergarten teacher and having my own classroom. I have my license to be a director and would like start my own child care center or small business. I soon learned that I found being a kindergarten teacher much more rewarding than being a preschool teacher. The children are always changing and I have alot to learn from them.
