Bobbie's Story
Life
It's Monday the 24th of September 2007 and I'm at work. I work at Ford Motor Co. at the world headquarters in Dearborn. I live in Adrian and commute 65 miles one way. I know ... it's insane and if possible I would like to change that.
Here is a quick summary of what I've done and where I've been since High School ...
After High School I went in the Navy for 4 years, then on to MSU for 7 years (Computer Science). Moved to Florida for close to 13 years and in Oct of 2000 moved back to Tecumseh. Just last month (Aug 2007) we moved into Adrian.
I re-connected with Barb (my wife of 25 years as of the 22nd of May this year) just before I got out of the Navy. We had been corresponding during my stint in the Navy and when I got out we got together and have been together ever since. Some of you will remember her, her name was Barbara Outman and now is (obviously) Barbara Thompson. We've been together for over 28 years, 25 of them in marria...Expand for more
ge. We have 2 wonderful children, Salina Paige born in Oct of 1986 and Bobbie the III, born in April of 1988. Salina is living in Clinton and Bobbie (Bo) is living with us in Adrian. My "now" picture is of myself and Barb on the right and my sister Shelley and her fiance' Clark Keller. This was taken in the fall of 2005 when we were on our way to Vegas. Clark has since passed on and is at home with Jesus now.
My Job ... I'm a Business\Systems Analyst at Ford Motor in their Treasury Department. Sounds bigger then it really is, although we do move in excess of 2 billion dollars a day. Anywhere from 2 to 8 billion dollars is invested and or moved to pay bills etc ...
