Bobby Moore:

CLASS OF 1980
Charlotte, NC

Bobby's Story

Life Hi Class of 80', I hope the last 25 years have been kind to you all.I can't complain.I still live in Charlotte with my 17yr. old daughter whom I have custody of.I'm a christian, and attend Mt.Harmony Baptist church(please visit).I've been married twice but I don't suppose I was cut out for marriage. My second wife and I bought a house in Habersham sub division off Idlewild road in Matthews in 1999.My daughter(Hannah)is from my first marriage to Angie Stanley, who became addicted to crack and pretty much checked out on life,a very sad ordeal. My second wife was Buffalo,NY,and was very attractive, but as time went by it became apparent we were from two different worlds. Some pertaining to moral issues, and others in personality traits. I've always been a very passive person (to a fault),but that's just my character. My wife on the other hand liked confrontation and it just wasn't a good mix. We're actually still married, and I'll always love her,but unless God in his divine plan sees to it,we'll never be together again. After high school,I worked in the aerospace industry as a machinist, and the printing industry I currently work mostly on the internet, and have a small vend- ing business.I hope to officially retire in less than 2 years, and I'll probaly...Expand for more
move to Charleston,SC (love the area). My girl will graduate from Butler High School next year, she's so smart and pretty,I know she'll do well in life.I thank God for her. That sounds weird to say that my child is almost graduating from high school, time sure does get away.December 5th,I'll be 44,I'm told i don't look a day over 32.I can only attribute that to God,and working out and staying active all my life.In high school I weighed around 125 (soak and wet).I presently weigh a little over 200,but I'm proud to say,I wear it well. I still have a full head of hair, and full mustache.I can only say that thru it all,and like everyone there has been alot of good and alot of bad,I have truly been blessed and thank my Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ everyday.During and after high school,I had a fondness for alcohol, and subsequently became an alcoholic(although functioning)an alcoholic none the less. I rededicated my life to Christ 14 months ago,and haven't had a drop of alcohol since.I don't know what your life has been like or is like now,I'll only attest to the fact that if God isn't in it,then the biggest peice of the puzzle, that's your life is missing.Christ is our only hope, not only in this life but in eternity to come.Later, and God Bless You All,Bob Moore.
