Bobby's Story
Hi to everyone from the Class of 1961. I now live in sunny South Carolina on a 31 acre estate that I try and keep looking much like a golf course. If any of my classmates care to drop me a line or two, especially Danny French or Donnie Estes, I'd really love to hear what has happened to any of you these past 47 years. As for me, after AHS, it was ESSC for 4 years and then a 4 year enlistment in the US Navy, winding up defending our country in Vietnam in 1969. I returned to take up life with a wife and two children, a son, who now lives in Portland, Oregon, and a daughter living in Olympia, Washington.
In 1983 I remarried and now am about to celebrate my 25th wedding anniversary with the most fantastic gal I've ever known. Her name is Anita and together we have a daughter living in Portland, Oregon who just gave birth to her second child.

ame a dental health provider for a county govt dental clinic in Portland, Oregon, after many years of private practice. I retired in June of 2005, and moved lock, stock, and barrel to SC. We absolutely love it down here. Anita has 2 sisters and aunts and uncles and her mother to keep her busy, beside overseeing the daily workings of our plantation. No, we don't grow cotton or tobacco, but manage to enjoy life to its fullest on our back deck and attached swimming pool. We enjoy going to the nearby lakes and fish from our 25 ft pontoon boat. I have a tractor to help mow at least 6 1/2 of our 31 acres. The rest is forest with oak, pecan, and beautiful pines.
I'd really like to hear from any of my classmates and hear how their lives have progressed. I thank you kindly for reading about my life and wish everyone good times in the future.
