Cleta's Story
Life
Doug and I have been married for 55 years last September. We have four children, Christopher, Sandra, Jamie, and Jennifer, and their spouses. 11 grand children, ages up to 35 years. We also have 4 great-grandchildren with another one on the way.
Doug is retired from the heating and air conditioning business in Denver and we moved to Western Kansas, where we take in abused and homeless dogs and cats. I find new forever homes for them. Update- We have shut down the shelter as our health continues to decline.
Chris' family is in Colorado, Jamie's is in Nebraska, one grandson just got back home from 4 years in the Marines Special Forces, Jennifer is in nearby Colby Kansas and Sandra's in Oakley. We get to see them every time we go into town.
