For what it's worth, here's the story of my life. I worked at Ford after graduating in Jan 62 and went to Michigan Tech in the western Upper Peninsula in Sep. I messed around in school for the next 5 plus years with my most notable accomplishment being that I was married in 1966. I finally graduated from Tech in 1967 (Math) and was fortunate enough to get into the Air Force moments before I was drafted. After deciding to make a career of the Air Force, they sent me to study electrical engineering but that was interrupted by a rare neuro-muscular disease called Guillam-Barre Syndrome which left me with considerable weakness below the elbows and knees. I had to leave the Air Force after nearly 9 years of service. We (now with 3 kids, boy, girl, boy), moved to Madison, WI where I worked in a Forest Service lab for 3 years and industry for 5 years.
