Life Dick and I met at NASA where Dick was an engineer/rocket scientist in the wind tunnels and worked on the Space Shuttle for 14 of those years, and I was the Branch Secretary for the Physics Branch. After two weeks of dating, he proposed, (my answer was "What took you so long?") and six months later, on November 30, 1963 we were married. We have three sons, Steven, Brian and Jonathan. The first two years we lived in Mountain View and then moved back to San Jose, living in the same home since 1965. Brian has given us our first grandson, Sean Thomas and first granddaughter, Taryn 3 years later. We have two others (Justin and Amanda) through marriage. We have done a lot of traveling during our life together, visiting almost all of the states including Alaska and Hawaii, as well as Canada, the Panama Canal, Costa Rica, Aruba, The Bahamas and Mexico. During the years, I have been a volunteer at Good Samaritan Hospital, PTA President, Secretary, Room Mother, and classroom aide while our children were in school, AYSO commissioner, treasurer, & secretary, and Chairman of Grad Nights at Lynbrook HS as well as working with the Lynbrook United Community for Youth (a wellness program for teens).
