Life I'm a retired junior high school math teacher as of January 2006. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration at Norwich University, VT, in 1981. It took me 11 years to complete it because my husband, John, was in the military and we moved a lot. We've lived in Oklahoma, Maryland, Vermont, Kansas, Germany, and Texas. After the kids were all in school, I worked as a bookkeeper in the Copperas Cove Public Library and took college math classes at night so that I could teach and be home with my children during their school holidays. John and I have been married for 34 years and are the parents of four great kids. Our oldest, Natalie, has been married 14 years and is a full-time mom to our only grandchildren, Sydney Anne, 5 years old, and Samuel Jason, 3 years old. Oldest son Jonathan completed a graduate degree at Sam Houston State University and is teaching algebra at Huntsville HS, TX. Middle son Jeremy, an adult with autism, has a bachelor's degree in software engineering, works part-time, and lives at home.
