Bonnie's Story
Life
I would like to hear from friends and acquaintances from St. Paul and Prospect High School,and catch up with where their chosen path has taken them. I'm married with one son and three grandchildren. My husband and I spend our winters in a beach community near Naples, Florida(Barefoot Beach) and summer in Crystal Lake, Illinois. I spent 27 years working for United Airlines, mostly in Inflight Services (flight attendant operations). Lot's of great experiences there. Had an opportunity to work with many interesting talented people. I was a flight attendant group supervisor, supervisor on- board the DC-10s and 747s, Be part of an emergency "go-team" , assist with the start-up of in-flight operations in London and France, investigate allegations of sexual harassment, developed policy and procedure, wrote situational interview packages, performed management training , served as HR point person to various Company managers and VPs. retired six years ago and we have been making the commute back and forth between Florida and Illinois since then. We have both been blessed with good health and enjoy tennis, golf, travel, biking, walking the beach a little back-water boating and spending quality time with good friends. We have a group of friends we call "The Cruise Group" because we began our close friendship on an Alaskan cruise where we enjoyed the sights, river rafting and kayaking. We Have hung up the snow skis and scuba equipment. We've also enjoyed travel within the States, Hawaii, The Caribbean, Europe and Asia. We call our vacations Adventure Camps". Neither my husband nor I thought the transition to retired life would be so welcome and enjoyable, but we find that it is and that we are busier than ever. So much for worring about what to do with all your free time after retirement! We also have two great cats---Coda Bear and Cocoa Latte. I was very sorry to miss the H>S> reunion, regretting it since ,then and would love to hear from you. Bonnie:)
