Bonnie's Story
When I think of my high school days I can remember a lot of great times! Well, to be honest a lot of growing up pains too. The pressure to fit in...... loose weight.....boyfriends.....girl friends.....wanting to fit in but then again feeling if I did... I would have to compromise who I was. Reality was, I didn't know who I was. I loved the theater...I could play someone else's role (Music Man, Fantastics, Finian's Rainbow and Hello Dolly) and during that time I felt I was a "somebody". (Except the time we had a school matinee and my skirt fell down during a song in "Music Man".....I still have nightmares about that!)
My life took a major turn after I graduated and I studied the life of Jesus and became a believer and follower of Him. My whole life now reflects this. I am married to an incredible man, Paul, (for 39 years) who loves God and is a Pastor of Ri...Expand for more
verside Church (1,000 + members) in Three Rivers, Michigan., I work alongside of him. We have a health clinic and a huge outreach in the jails. Our church's theme is "Changed Lives", and we are seeing it on a weekly basis.
I have mothered 4 amazing kids...Hannah who now lives in Boston, Jonathan, married and an owner of a business, Daniel is an actor in LA (check out The Revenge of Wyatt Earp...he's the bad guy :), and our last, David, married and does sales for medical device.
We are grandparents to Little Jack and number 2 on the way!
I love life and the one who gave His life for me. I only wish I could have had my head on straight during my high school years. Oh well maybe nobody else did either.
I highly recommend the book "The Purpose Driven Life". For women..."Sensible Shoes"
