We are flexible like that! ;) It's the fire in my eyes / And the flash of my teeth / The swing in my waist / And the joy in my feet. / I'm a woman / Phenomenally. / Phenomenal woman / That's me. ~ Maya Angelou, from “Phenomenal Woman” In helping others, we help shall help ourselves, for whatever good we give out completes the circle and comes back to us. _ Flora Edwards So often times it happens, that we live our lives in chains, and we never even know we have the key... Already Gone, Eagles Hell hath no fury like a vested interest masquerading as a moral principle. ~ Unkown One of my favorite Daily Om Horoscopes: "Alone But Authentic" ~ You may feel exposed and defenseless as you speak your truth to the world today. This is a step of courage and faith in yourself for which you should be proud. O...Expand for more
ften what we use as defenses are really ways to hide ourselves from others so that we don't have to face rejection. But when we know the truth of ourselves, and truly believe in our inner guidance, we do not need to hide. When we step out and let our light shine, we may feel alone, but our authenticity will draw those people to us who recognize our bravery and want to be closer to it. We will attract people to us who can understand, admire, and support us for who we are. Today you can let yourself be exposed and allow your authenticity to be your strength. We are all socialized to fit in with the crowd. It is what keeps us safe and helps us move through life more effortlessly. At the same time, we may allow it to limit our vision for ourselves and therefore our possibilities. We can instead look at life like learning to play an instrument. First we need to learn the basics, practice, and learn how to play with others. Only with that knowledge can we then use our creativity and our skill to create works of art. Today by being authentic, you expose your creative artistry of life to the world and invite others to join you.". More about Bonnie:"Thankful for my family and friends, whom I love, and who love me for who I am. They are most of what makes my world go round! Mom to Ryann and Max. Nani to 3 year old Jack, who lives with his momma, Ryann and daddy, Drew in Kansas! I am the Program Director for the Easton Area Community Center. I work with a bunch of wonderful people! It's great mentoring the kids and definitely a challenge everyday! If you are a former Saint's kid and haven't seen the place for a while, you should pay us a visit! We love the company! If you're lucky, you'll be in time for dinner!".
