Bonnie's Story

Bonnie is from Birmingham, Alabama. Her schools include Shades Valley High School. She attended Stephens College, Columbia, MO. and Samford in Birmingham. She worked at WAKE and WBRC Radio before moving to Atlanta where she worked as a radio advertising rep before marriage. She is the mother of one son, Scott Bryant of Homewood. Bonnie worked in advertising and promotions for the Atlanta Braves and later managed a gift shop in Peachtree Center in downtown Atlanta after her divorce. in 1984 they moved to New Orleans. In 1986 they moved to Panama City Beach where Jeff opened the Bay Point Marriott and Bonnie was Executive Director of Bay Arts Alliance, the arts council for Bay County. In 1989 they moved to Chattanooga and returned to Atlanta in 1992. Bonnie and Jeff currently live outside Atlanta near Peachtree City in Tyrone where they are retired. Bonnie has been a porcelain painter since 1965 and has served in several positions both in 2 local porcelain art clubs and in the Georgia World Organization of China Painters.
