Bonnie's Story
After graduating from Parkside, I moved to California to go to U.C. San Diego. I enjoyed four years in San Diego and then was accepted into veterinary school at U.C. Davis. I graduated from veterinary school in 1992 and did an internship back in San Diego. When the internship was finished, I married my husband, Jonathan, and moved to Fresno, CA. After a year in Fresno, Jon and I moved to Monterey, CA and had our 2 girls. Hanna is now 8 years old and Hailey is 5. Jon earned his degree ...Expand for more
in winemaking at Fresno State and started his winemaking career in Monterey. I continued to work as a veterinarian after having the girls. We decided to leave California in 2004 and moved to Eugene, Oregon. We really are happy that we moved to Eugene. It reminds me a lot of Salisbury, only about twice the size. I am practicing full time as a veterinarian and Jon is the winemaker at a local winery. We are now working on starting our own winery and tasting room.
