Bonnie's Story
Life
After high school I traveled the west coast and when I came home I went to cosmetology school and became a hair stylist for about fifteen years. I was married at the age of 27 and had my beautiful daughter at the end of the same year, no it was not a shot gun wedding. I was married to a former Maine East alumni but our marriage ended in 96 and I relocated to Las Vegas where I and my daughter still live my parents are out here and so is my sister and her family. I had my own business out here for about 7 years and was doing very well until there was a change in management on the golf courses I was affiliated with. came from chicago, it felt like home but after a couple of years It tooks its toll on me and now I am selling time shares, better hours and better money and great benefits so that part of my life is good and I am happy to say I found my soulmate and am engaged to be married in December. The only bad thing that happened was that my daughter was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes at the age of 11 and the week in the hospital was very hard I felt like a nurse I had to learn how to give her shots check her blood and everytime she is sleeping I always check on her to make sure her blood sugar is not to high or low. But she is a great girl and my life and she has learned to manage her diabetes and I am very proud of her. More later after I get married
