Life My Spouse We met a party given to honor him and his fiancee. He used to play for the Houston Oilers and is now a family attorney and mediator. My Kids My daughter, Gretchen Hellums Ferreira, graduated from St. John's School in '89. She has a BA and Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and works with an obstetrics and gynecological practice in Medford, Oregon. She also has a private practice. Her husband, Dr. Steve Ferreira is a veterinarian surgeon. They have two daughters, Sophie and Mae. My son, Josh Hellums, graduated from Lamar in '91 and after a stint in the Army finished undergraduate school (at the UofH) and medical school (also getting a masters in Public Health) at UT Houston. He finished his residency in ER at Ft Hood and now is stationed at Ft Campbell, Kentucky where he is the Special Ops ER doctor. He is a Major. His wife is a pediatrician and they have one daughter, Anna and a son named Nate.. My step son, Christopher, works for Sam's and he and his wife, Dina, have four sons, and one little girl.
