Bonnie's Story
I left LI in the midddle of our senior year to move to TN with my family. I was engaged at the time and I married him in November of that year! We will be married for 37 years in November.
We had planned on having a lot of children, but that never happened, but we have had a very happy life together!
We lived in TN for 6 years then we moved to NH in 1978. We've lived in several different places in NH. We lived in Rochester NH for several years, then my husbands job was Laconia, so we moved to the Lakes Region! It's so beautiful here!
As with most everyone we are getting older and have health problems. I've been a house...Expand for more
wife most of the time. I did work for a bank for a few years, which I really like doing. Worked my way up from being a teller, to head teller, to assistant branch manager, to customer service representative and when I left I had been developing a training program.
Off and on I have been busy taking care of ill parents and having to deal with that part of sadness in life.
A few years ago my developmentally disabled cousin's last parent passed away and I have been watching over her ever since. She has her own little apartment attached to the house we live in, so I am here to watch over her.
So that has been my life so far.
