Bonnie's Story
I actually left school when my parents kicked me out at 16, and got my GED. I was at Crapital from my Sophomore year to a couple of months into my Senior year. I left school because I had to work full time to support myself.
I had my oldest son when I was 18, met my ex-husband in Boise when I was 22, and moved to Florida with him in 1999. We got married and had my younger son in 2000.
That didn't work out, so I moved back to Boise and got a divorce. I spent the following 6 years regaining my life and my personality back after going through some very tough times, including a messy custody battle. I have both of my boys now, and as of February 2010, they are 16 and 9 years old.
I met my wonderful boyfriend in October of 2006. I arranged for a transfer with my job, we moved to Portland, Oregon, and now I'm going to school at Portland Community College. I'm studying Computer Information Systems, and am a member of Phi Theta Kappa Ho...Expand for more
nor Society. Graduation date for me from PCC: December 2010. I am dual enrolled at The Oregon Institute of Technology and working on my Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Business Systems Analysis.
In my spare time I enjoy tending to my yard and planting flowers, as well as watching the birds come to eat. I always love a good hike, and I love camping. But my most favorite hobby of all is digital photography. (double-u, double-u, double-u, dot naturalaperture dot net)--apparently they don't let you put web addresses on here. I've been selling prints online and at bazaars, as well as some greeting cards. I'm doing weddings and portraits, too. Now that my kids are older and I'm with the love of my life in a place that I enjoy (Portland rocks!), I can finally be the person and live the life I always wanted to and should have all along.
Fellow classmates who picked on me while I was in high school, eat your hearts out!!!!
