Bonnie's Story
I received an e-mail from Lisa Peterson the other day and she reminded me that we've been out of school for 27 years now. I'm not sure what happened. I figure, I must've blinked! My son is 22 and we just built his first home for him. I work as an RN and enjoy it most days. We live in a place called Pioneertown. It's an old Western Movie set. xcited about trying it out on my next day off. The solitude of where I live is truly wonderful. Our house faces a mountain called the Sleeping Indian and I swear I can spend hours just looking at it. the neighbors are eclectic. Some are downright loony. Last fall I found bear and mountain lion tracks clear up to the porches. A few years ago, we had a large fire that made national news. We lost almost all 10 acres of Joshua Trees. All in all, I'd say things aren't too bad these days.
