Bonnie's Story
I'll spare you the details of the past four decades, except to say that I left New York in 1985. My family (husband Ron Jacobs and our 3 children Sue, Andrea and Kevin) moved to Mishawaka, Indiana, when I accepted a transfer from Revere to their Wells Aluminum subsidiary. Unfortunately, our marriage didn't survive the move and Ron eventually moved back to New York. I gained a 4th child when I was lucky enough to adopt a teenage son, Keith, in 1991. We spent 12 years in Indiana, where 5 of my 6 grandchildren (oh, and 3 of my 4 children) still reside. My youngest grandchild resides with his parents in Hebron, KY.

oepke. Ken encouraged me to retire in June, 2001, so that we could make our first RV trip to Alaska. We enjoyed it so much, we returned to Alaska in the summer of 2004 and plan to go again. We visited the Canadian Maritimes in the summer of 2005. We spend our summers touring northern states, visitng family, and seeing many of the National Parks in this country. Death Valley NP continues to be one of our favorites and we visit nearly every November. Winters are usually spent in Southern California, Southwest Arizona or South Texas. We just completed our 8th year of living and travelling full-time in our Safari Motorhome. We continue to enjoy this wonderful lifestyle and hope to spend many more years seeing the US and Canada.
