Bonnie's Story

Life Its been a crazy winding road since HS graduation. I tried the college thing for a while. I spent a solid 4 semesters at Rutgers studying Music Education. Who would have thought that I would be doing something completely different now? I spent a while since leaving Rutgers growing up and figuring out what I want to really do with my life. Now After 7 years in Academic Retail, I have changed career paths and work as a Tech in the Emergency Room at a Local Hospital. I am also a volunteer EMT when I am not working. Who would have thought that? :) Life has been really good to me so far though. I have lived all over New Jersey since leaving Perth Amboy and now live with my Cat and roommate in the area. nts have. About 7 years ago I started working for the Follett Higher Education Group as a buyback clerk at the Montclair University Bookstore. I worked in academic retail for about 7 years and went back to school for human resources. While I was doing that I became a certified Emergency Medical Tech and I am now a volunteer EMT for both the Dunellen and Westfield Rescue Squads. Then in late 2007, I left the college bookstore scene and accepted a job as a Critical Care Tech in the Emergency Room at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. I am also going to hopefully start training to be a paramedic at the start of 2009. Its amazing where life can lead you, but you have to make sure you sit back and enjoy the ride.
