Bonnie's Story

Casper is still home to me, love to travel but have never wanted to move away from my hometown. My husband and I share our "country" home with dogs, cats, horses, goats, and pigs - which all came about by our initial inability to "just say no!" to a sad story. I love my life here....and feel so lucky to live in such a beautiful location. For those of you that remember the filming of the Hellfighters back in the '60's - I'm right out...Expand for more
here by where they set the oil derrick on fire! Took me a long time to decide what I want to be when I grow up. I am a nurse with the VA Clinic, which allows me to help care for the great heroes of our country.....the World War II vets make my day, everyday. And of course my friends from the Viet Nam era hold a special place in my heart. Looking forward to seeing some old friends at the 45th reunion - my mind still thinks I'm 17.

Brenda and I met for a weekend in Las Vegas. Ran across 'Elvis'. Elvis looked about the same as in 1971 when I saw the real deal in concert there, with the exception of the scooter. Times have changed, LV is for the youn

Very sad tonight, Maurice passed away during a trip to the vet this afternoon. Gary and I and his doctor were at his side when he went in to respiratory arrest. We will sure miss this guy!
Mr. Kazoo snoozing while the vet and his assistant are trimming pig hooves! The other three are sleeping off camera. Ha ha, glad is over for another year.
With a heavy heart, I share the news that my mom Dorothy passed away late last night at Lifecare, seems she just peacefully fell asleep, hopefully dreaming of the homemade pumpkin pie she had asked the daughters to be sure
I imagine that tonight our 'Pony' is now running like the wind through the pasture in horsie heaven - no longer in pain, and without her fancy canvas gel boots. She'll be missed by all her family here.
So many of you know of our old boy Earthquake, the horse who 'came with the house' - and was the guy who finally fulfilled little Bonnie's dream of having a horse when she grew up. His face is the one between Gary and me o
Toasting our one-year delayed 50th class reunion - rhubarb margaritas from my backyard garden. A weekend where we all felt like teenagers......such fun.
