Bonnie's Story
Life
Short and sweet:
Education - attended CSU Fresno for 3 years before transferring to Baylor University, Texas where I obtained my BS in Nursing. Decided to go back to school nearly 20 years later at Holy Names College (now University) for my Master in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, graduating in 2001 with honors.
Career - Nursing has been my life and I've had an eclectic career. First at Samuel Merritt Hospital, Oakland starting in a medical-surgical ward and then getting into critical care nursing for nearly 6 years. In 1991, I left bedside nursing and worked in a variety of settings including industry, worker's comp, and insurance case management.

n in 1994 when I joined the Stanford Comprehensive Epilepsy Center as a Clinical Research Nurse coordinating multiple clinical drug trials. It then evolved and expanded after completing graduate school when I became board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I now manage hundreds of patients with epilepsy and am privileged to work with premier epileptologists much to my delight. And, I still coordinate the clinical drug trials...
Family: I have been happily married for 19 years to my wonderful husband Randy. We have a beautiful daughter Aubrey now 16 (time-date Oct 2006). We make our home in Fremont. Included in our household are our feline companions, Abby, Gibson, Hudson and Crosby - all rescue animals.
