Life For those of you who know me, I am been able to spend most of career doing the things I like most, traveling, meeting new people and experiencing new adventures. My job in purchasing has allowed me the good fortune to have lived in many areas both in the US and overseas. As some of you know, I started at Wayne State and ending up graduating from Washington State University with a degree in Clothing and Textiles. As some might suspect, I ended up in Washington State, where I had been stationed in the Army for two years, in the Seattle-Tacoma area. To make a long story short, I married and divorced while living in the Pacific Northwest. Over the years, I have been a department store buyer, owner of a screen printing business in Prague, Czech Republic, consultant - primarily with small businesses and some work in Eastern Europe after the wall came down in the early 90's. For the past 10 years I have worked in Supply Chain Management in manufacturing. Presently as a Global Commodity Manager, I get to do more of more favorite things, negotiate and travel. I had the good fortune of spending a year recently on special assignment for my company in China. The majority of family stills lives in the greater Detroit area, although I have siblings in Boston, Seattle and Tampa. While I started out wanting to be an archaeologist, I still keep in avid interest in the subject.
