Bonnie's Story
After graduating from Whitman in 1960 I went on to SUNY Oswego and studied elementary education. Upon graduation in 1964 I got a job teaching in South Huntington, Birchwood Elementary School, and spent the next 38 years there teaching grades 3,4,5, and 6. I received a Masters Degree in Education from St. John's University I also studied for a Certificate in computer education from Stony Brook University.
I retired from teaching in 2002.

to Bob Childs, we were married in August of 1964. We have 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren and one is on the way.
We lived on Long Island, in Huntington until September 2007 when we decided to move to North Carolina to be near our daughters and grand children.
We enjoy our new state, especially the weather.
There's been alot of stuff gone on since high school, most of it good, but some not so. We are healthy and happy what more could we ask for?
