Bonnie's Story
Since leaving high school, I've lived in Houston, married and moved to CT, MI and now living in Florida on the Gulf Coast. I'm in real estate and doing very well. I am with a local Remax company. I live with my husband John and our two dogs - Jake, an English Mastiff and Stella, a Newfoundland. We like big dogs. I have two grown children, my husband has 3. Between us we have 7 grandchildren. My son is in the Navy and living in San Diego. My daughter is living in Manhattan. John's daughters live in New England - CT, VT and NH.
I have such a different life and living away from GP for so many years it almost seems like that was someone else's life. My husband and I have traveled extensively. Our favorite place was Italy.
I have talked to Eileen Almond and we've known each other since 2nd grade. She keeps me up on local news.
My best friend in the world passed away 3 yrs ago a day before her 51st birthday. My Mom passed away 6 months before. I have had many fri...Expand for more
ends pass away over the past few years. I guess that comes with getting older.
I look back and my life really began in Houston. I loved living in Houston and really enjoyed my life there. I have a lot of friends who are still there. The only place I really don't care about is Michigan. It was to cold and we didn't really make many friends there. We knew we would not live there very long. We have quite a few friends here and since I'm in real estate I know quite a few people. We are members of the Chamber of Commerce, Hernando Builders Association as well as the state, national and local realtors's association.
My best times now revolve around my family. I love to sit on my lanai in the evening and watch tv or read a book. Here the indoors runs into the outdoors. It becomes one. Jake likes to sit next to me and waits for me to go inside. If you have never had a big dog - you don't know what you are missing. They are the best. He cuddles with the best of them!
