Hello all my wonderful school mates :-) This is Bonnie Lee Brooks...now living up in Ojai CA by Ventura. Lets see...After we graduated...I went to a technical school Control Data to learn keypunch and was job placed at John Sexton Foods in Compton. I learned and grew there until 1974 when I had the opportunity to get another keypunch job in Santa Barbara at the County...how lucky was I? I loved Santa Barbara...who would not... I had another job opp to learn computer operations at Infomag in Goleta in 1980. Then I jumped to Santa Barbara Research Center in Goleta 1984 and worked under several new company byouts...GM..etc.and then outsourced to Computer Sciences Corp. I was just shy of 18 years...and my had my first layoff. It happened 3 days before 9/11/2001 I then temped around until 2003 where I landed a computer op job at Kinkos in Oxnard. Then a job op opened up in San Diego with my old company CSC 2004 and I moved to San Diego. That lasted until October 2006 when they closed the site.
