Bonnie's Story

I have been retired for 16 years and loving every minute of fun and free time! I loved my career as teacher and principal but I really value the freedom of retirement-with no schedules. Jim Barker and I were married in 1969 and celebrated our 49th anniversary this June. He taught high school and community college. We live about 30 miles nort...Expand for more
h of Tucson, Arizona and enjoy lots of golf. I just got my 6th hole in one! Pure luck but totally fun! Jim does woodworking and is a luthier. I have taken up pottery and other crafty things. I want to learn to weld but the sparks scare me and I’d probably set the garage on fire, so I stick to my soldering iron and pencil torch. Life is good!
