Bonnie's Story

Life 12/22/07...My (2nd)husband Jim, and I have just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and are planning a trip to France to celebrate. Our first trip to Europe!We have been retired for a few years now(Jim from AT&T and me from EDS) and live in a wonderful northern community called Lost Lake Woods Club. It's about 25 mi south of Alpena, Michigan. We have a great time here, lots of friends and things to do. We have a Bichon, Coco, who is 2 yrs. old and the joy of our lives!We built a wonderful home on a private lake - my dream has always been to live on a lake. It's great! My son, Darren, and his wife Amber, live in Midland and my daughter Tricia, and her husband Paul, and son Nick, live in Northville, Mi. They are all doing well and make me very proud. e glad we don't have to count on sales to be able to eat! But it helps keep the mind active. I have done a variety of volunteer work since retiring - from helping out the police dept. in Flushing before our move here, to tutoring readers, planning and working on fund raisers for our club. Our club has 11,000 acres, 5 lakes, beach, 18 hole golf course, shooting range, skeet and trap,archery, tennis, lodge, dining room, fishing and hunting. My husband's grandfather was a charter member here in 1926, so this area has always been a wonderful part of my husband's life. He loves it here so much and now I do to. My golf game has improved somewhat and Jim is the proud owner of TWO hole-in-one trophies since retiring! I wish there were more bios from my classmates to read. It's been quite a while since the last class reunion and it doesn't seem as if there will be any more.
