Bonny's Story
Hi guys! Had to leave in the middle of senior year to move to Alaska attended Uof A for 1 year. Moved to Minnesota. Attended Hardin Simmons University. (They didn't like me there, HA) Returned to MN and attended a school for Medical and Dental Assistants. Spent time in Abilene again and settled for a while in Mpls, MN as an assistant. in a Dr.'s office.
From there, I spent time in Israel, studying Hebrew. While residing there, took a short trip across Europe and over a morning cup of coffee in a castle in Germany, met my KIWI husband. David was with a group called YWAM (Youth With A Mission). They were at the castle also. One morning David heard the accent of the girl next to me ...Expand for more
(who was also living on our Kibbutz and was also from New Zealand) and we met. He arrived in Israel after we returned from our trip across Europe and four months later we were married in Jerusalem.
We honeymooned in Europe and then settled in NZ for 12 years. Both my boys were born there. We returned to the States in 1991 for David to attend seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. David graduated with an MDiv and THM and we are both now in the Texas State Guard. He's a Chaplain. I am a lowly PFC.
My eldest son in a Marine in Okinawa and my yougest is a reservist Marine and works as a forensic scientist in Bedford, Texas. He was just married and I am anxiously awaiting grandchildren. HA! :)
