Jamie's Story
Life
After High School, I went to UC Santa Barbara and got a degree in Biology.
I worked for a while as a Seafood Inspector for the US Dept. of Commerce and got an opportunity to work in American Samoa at the tuna canneries.
Since smelling fish was not to be my crowning achievement, I went back to school and got my Masters in Public Health at CSULB. I specialize in community health education and health promotion.

with my husband Chuck, son Braeden (born 8/1/06), dog Ruby, cat Smokey, and a few fish that have yet to be named (they die too often).
I work for the OC Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics where I develop programming and educational materials for an injury and violence prevention program. We focus primarily on children under 6 years.
I also teach Human Sexuality one night a week at CSULB - it is fun and it keeps me (relatively) young.
