More about Brad:"I am a 57 year old single man
who deals with demanding people all night, 5 nights a week and when I'm off, I want to be quiet, shy away from crowds and noise. The most important things in my life are my family, close friends and my pets that keep me company and make me laugh. You can find me at Vitale's Italian restuarnt having dinner at the bar almost every Tuesday. I have become friends with everyone there and it is like going home once a week. Once a year I take my Mom, her husband and any other family that wants to cone to Emerald Isle on the beach in North Carolina. I love the ocean and being near it. I spend the major portion of my time there reading good books on the beach and the deck. It is the most peaceful place I have found and at night we go in town for ice cream! I love ice cream!".
After graduation I hung around Bucks County for awhile, found New Hope through a good friend and began spending time with other gay men and women. For the first time in my life I felt that I belonged somewhere and embraced it fully, perhaps a bit too much for a few ye...Expand for more
ars. I worked in a variety of restaurants and clubs waiting tables, tending bar and eventually cooking. Cooking led me to the Culinary Institiute and things took off from there,
I moved to Southern California and began working for Ritz Carlton, eventually being on the opening team for the Ritz Carlton Seoul in Korea. Ater a year and a half in Korea I came back to California and continued working in high end restaurnats and hotels around the Laguna Beach and Newprt Beach area. Eventually I was chosen to join my old Ritz Carlton colleagues and moved to the Bahamas to open Atlantis in 1998. From there I ended up in Guam at an 800 room hotel resort for a 1 year contract, then it was on the the Florida Keys until 9/11 put the kabosh on the tourist industry down there. Moved back home to the Philly area where I eventually bought a home, rescued several pets, planted a garden and started working for Harrah's Philadelphia where I have been for almost 6 years now.
I am currently working with two former colleagues putting together a business plan for a chain of restaurants we will be opening in the summer of 2014 beginning in south Florida and working our way up the Gulf coast.
Life is exciting, I love new adventures. The only thing lacking is a partner to share it all with, but I have time for that.
