Brad's Story
Hello,
After high school, I went into the Air Force Police for 4 years. I was stationed in Florida and Japan. When I got out I joined the Everett, Washington Police Department, but after 6 years decided the military retirement was better so went back in. Just to be different though, I went into the Coast Guard as a medical specialist.
I spent most of my career on ships, but did one tour at an Air Station doing helicopter rescue work as well as clinic duty. I did two tours in Alaska, as well as several in the continental U.S. Other places I've visited are Panama, South Korea, Mexico, The Bahamas and several trips to Hawaii. Like a lot of us here in Washington, I've also been to Canada more times than I can remember....Expand for more
I retired in 2001, and returned to Everett. I'm currently a Field Supervisor for First Transit in Snohomish County.
I was married from 1979 to 2007. We have two children, both grown up, and both living in the area.
In October 2009 I met Marie, a woman I have more in common with than I would have believed possible. We enjoy hiking, snow shoeing, scuba diving, and kayaking, as well as dining, movies, and musical theater. We've done dive trips to Hawaii, Australia, and Mexico. The diving here in Puget Sound is pretty great too.
Latest updates - October 2013: My daughter Lisa and her husband Max had a baby girl, Marie and I got married. January 2014: Marie's daughter Sarah and her husband Jason also had a baby girl.
