Brad's Story
Life
After graduating from PCW, I attended Southern Nazarene University and obtained a degree in Business Administration. While there, I played some basketball, served as class officer and married Carolyn (we started dating while she was a student at PCHS).
I've enjoyed being an entrepreneur. The risks and rewards of starting and managing businesses have been interesting...and, for the most part, enjoyable.
There have been many opportunities to put my faith into action and serve the community. These have had immeasureable impact on my life.
+opening "Hannah House" women's homes across the U.S.
+establishing and coaching high school basketball for home schoolers
+serving as clergy coordinator to victim's families after the Murrah Bldg. bombing in 1995
+helping Mulhall, OK recover from the devastating tornado of May, 1998 and rebuilding its community center
...Expand for more
+speaking to the conference of 9/11 responders in NYC and providing help
+helping establish the Oklahoma City Leadership Foundation
+pastoring a small church from 1988 - 1995 and getting the privilege of traveling, speaking in Africa, India and other interesting places
+establishing the Oklahoma Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatiaves with the support of Gov. Keating and Sec. Regier and being able to work with the White House and other state's governor's offices.
These activities gave more to me than I ever gave to them. Sometimes a guy feels like a mule at the Kentucky Derby. I am in debt to so many who helped me along the way.
Been married 35 years. Two children. Brian is in California as a designer/architect. Amy is taking time off from being a counselor at PCWHS to take care of my first grandbaby. Josh and Amy love their baby boy, Wyatt Dalton.
