Life
The summer after graduation I got a job at a radio station as a DJ in Colorado where we spent summers. I LOVED that job! It was totally different from Retail! I considered postponing College a semester to stay working but decided to get started. I went to SCC and received AA degree and then went to ASU for Business (following in my parents footsteps!). I opened my first "Enchante" Boutique March 1987 in Carefree. I love French things! After 2 years I moved the store to Scottsdale Fashion Square where it remained for 11 years in two different locations.
It was a Great experience but time for change. I moved Enchante to The Shops at Gainey Village. At last, I hoped to have...Expand for more
a life after work!! This is a new experience as my Mother and I merged our two stores, the Old & the New,(Antiques & Furniture with Gift*Home*Clothing)
My Dad still has his Location in Carefree. My parents founded the Toy Cottage before I was born. It has pleased them both to see the Wallace and Ladmo Special. They created and sponsered the Ladmo bag for 25+ years! In fact that's how I got into retail, my "first sale" at 8 years old selling my favorite things at the time of course "Toys"! I may getting close to the maximum word limit! So, here we are, since leaving SFS it has been hard to keep in touch with many of my classmates so email me on what you have been up to!
