Brady's Story
Life
After my graduation I spent 2yrs on a mission for my church in Gautemala. Loved the country and the people and still speak pretty good spanish. 1979 started school in Scottsdale and at BYU in 1980. Got married in 1982 and graduated with BS of Business Mgt. in 1983. First of 8 children born in 1984. Grad with Masters of Intl. Mgt. in 1984. Worked until 1987 when I decided I wanted to be a Doctor and went back to school to do premed. Entered Med School at Kansas Univ. 1990. Grad 1994. Did a year of Internal Med. and in 1995 started my residency in Allentown, PA in OB/GYN. Finished in 1999. 1999 to present I have been doing OB/GYN at Scott, AFB in Illinois near St.Louis. 2yrs have 8 children ages 5-20. 4 boys and 4 girls. Plan a possible move into private practice end of 1995 in Gilbert, Az. at the new hospital they are currently building. I just delivery another baby just after midnight. No regrets about late nights running to the hospital to bring new life into the world. When not working my kids activities keep me very busy or I go out running. Do about 20 miles a week. Love the time to be alone with my thoughts. Also helps keep my weight down. When I graduated in 1976 I weighed 155, now 180 looks better. Still tall at 6' 2'' and still mostly blond with most my hair. I miss AZ. but have enjoyed living back east and in the midwest. Look forward to coming home, even though home is not near what it used to be.
