Brandon's Story
Hi to all you SR, SR-R and Sioux Central alums. Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying life. I currently reside in Pocahontas, Iowa (not too far from SR:)) I have taught and coached here since 1996. I have been the Athletic Director here for 6 years and have been the Head Baseball coach for the past 12 years. I teach High School Health and also work with At-Risk kids. My wife Karla is also a teacher here at Pocahontas. She teaches Middle School Special Education and Reading. She loves to read and work out. She's my everything!!! She loves sports almost as much as I do!!! Together we have 3 kids (Elle 10 in 4th grade) (Shea 9 in 3rd grade) (Tyce 5 in Pre-K) Elle is a basketball nut tomboy but also a girly girl too. o loves football and baseball. Tyce (Bubba) is the big talker of the bunch. He can start a conversation with anybody!
Those of you that remember my folks; my mom & step-dad (Ronda and Dallas) still live in Storm Lake. They have a house on Stoney Point on the south side of the lake. It's awesome going there in the summer time! Mom still teaches 5th grade (she is going to retire in a year or 2) and Dallas is still in mangagement at Sara Lee (formerly BilMar) the turkey plant.
My dad and step-mom (Doug and Mary) used to live in Pocahontas but have moved on to Oskaloosa, Iowa. Dad is the Golf Course Superintendent at an 18 hole course and Mary is a Financial Advisor at a bank. They are all healthy and doing well. Well, that's a nutshell.
