Life Well, after high school I went to NAU for 7 full years earning multiple degrees (B.S. Parks & Recreation Management; Minors: Psychology, Athletic Coaching; Emphasis: Sociology, and Social Work). The 'extended college career' came unexpectedly from playing on the Men's Volleyball Team which began my junior year. For anyone who knows me, that may be a surprise as I have never been the tallest person in the room...ever! My last 3 years on the team I spent as the team captain and in my last year of eligibility I was nominated to try out for the Men's Olympic National Team. Unfortunately I never went to the tryouts...I am an idiot, that would have been a great experience. Once I finally graduated, I accepted a position as the Athletics Director for the County of Santa Cruz in California.
